Social Justice Family Brunch

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., G106 MU Student Center

Family Weekend at MU is about celebrating our families, including our chosen family. This brunch is an opportunity for all students, regardless of family type to participate in Family Weekend. Join the Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center, LGBTQ Resource Center, Multicultural Center, Women’s Center and RSVP Center for brunch, games, and casual conversation. Sponsored by the Social Justice Centers.

 

Mizzou Volleyball vs. Boise State

Noon, Hearnes Center

Come see the home opening weekend for the volleyball tigers as they host the Mizzou Invitational. Opponents for the weekend include the Governors of Austin Peay, Northern Iowa Panthers, University of Missouri Kansas City Kangaroos, and the Boise State Broncos. Discount tickets ($5) will be available as part of Family Weekend registration. Students who have an All-sport pass will be able to enter using that and will not require a ticket purchased through Family Weekend registration. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $8.

 

College of Human Environmental Sciences Scholarship and Honors Convocation

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Stotler Lounge, Memorial Union

The College of Human Environmental Sciences will recognize all students who have received scholarships throughout the year as well as invite the donors of those scholarships to allow them the change to be recognized and potentially meet their scholarship recipient. Students are encouraged to invite their families to attend and celebrate their achievements with them at this event. Sponsored by the College of Human Environmental Sciences.

 

Mizzou Soccer vs. Northern Colorado

1:00 p.m., Walton Stadium

Watch the other Mizzou football team take on the Bears of Northern Colorado in a non-conference showdown.  Discount tickets ($5) will be available as part of Family Weekend registration. Students who have an All-sport pass will be able to enter using that and will not require a ticket purchased through Family Weekend registration. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $8. Parking is available in lots surrounding the stadium.
