Family Weekend Check-In

8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Main Level, MU Student Center

Pick-up your family’s pre-ordered items, such as tickets, t-shirts and spirit items. Identification will be required for packet pick-up.


The Mizzou Store Hours

9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., MU Student Center

Enjoy your game day. Stop by The Mizzou Store for your gold Mizzou wear for the game.


Family Weekend Dining with Campus Dining Services

8:00 – 10:30 a.m. (breakfast) and 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (lunch) at Rollins

10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (brunch) and 4:30 – 8:00 p.m. (dinner) at Plaza 900

Join us for a special celebration in a location your student enjoys every day! Guest servers and lots of black and gold will provide a festive atmosphere for fans preparing to cheer on the Tigers! Your student can “swipe” you in or you can pay with cash, debit or credit card at the door. We do request an RSVP for your preferred location which can be done through Family Weekend registration. School of Health Professions Annual Pancake Breakfast

8:30 – 11:30 a.m., Lewis & Clark Hall Lobby

School of Health Professions (SHP) students and their families are invited to join the Dean for the annual SHP Family Weekend Pancake Breakfast. SHP faculty and staff will be serving pancakes, sausage and fruit. This event is free. Donations are welcome and appreciated. Sponsored by the School of Health Professions


Study Abroad 101 for Parents

Do you have a student interested in studying abroad? Mizzou offers programs for every major in more than 40 countries! Come to this information session to learn more about the programs, planning process, health and safety abroad, costs, scholarships, and more. Refreshments will be provided.


Honors College Open House

Stop by the Honors College for coffee and donuts to kick off your Saturday morning. Catch up with Honors faculty, staff, and students, and learn about upcoming programming initiatives aimed at serving our honors student population.

Does your favorite old t-shirt need some sprucing up? Bring it along to our Tee-2-Tote and turn it into a tote bag that you can use for grocery shopping, classes, events and so much more! It’s a quick and simple crafting project that can help open up the door to more repurposing projects in the future. We will supply the necessary tools to turn your tee into a tote so all you need to supply is the shirt! This event is free and open to students and/or their families. We will be set up outside of the MU Sustainability Office which is attached to the Southwest portion of the Virginia Avenue Parking Garage. Tiger Tailgate Recycling

1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (volunteers will select their preferred 90 minute shift with RSVP), MU Sustainability Office, W112 Virginia Avenue (directly across the street from Pershing Hall)

Are you interested in helping the environment AND attending an MU home football game for free? Tiger Tailgate Recycling (TTR) is a collaborative effort between MU Sustainability and the Athletics Department to increase recycling efforts on football game days at MU. TTR volunteers visit tailgating lots to pass out recycling bags to fans and have interactions about environmental awareness. And as a thank you for all of your hard work that day, you will receive free admission into the MU football game. We will meet at the MU Sustainability Office for the 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift which is attached to the Southwest portion of the Virginia Avenue Parking Garage.  We will meet outside of Gate 1 at Faurot Field under the MU Sustainability tent for the 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. shifts. For more information and to sign up, visit: Sponsored by MU Sustainability.

Marching Mizzou Game Day Events

1:30 – 3:00 p.m., Rehersal, Marching Mizzou Practice Field (Champions Drive and Providence Point)

3:45 p.m., Tiger Walk, Mick Deaver Memorial Drive

5:15 p.m., March to the Stadium, east side of the Hearnes Center

Families and guests are invited to view our Marching Mizzou Game Day Rehearsal, attend Tiger Walk and the famous March to the Stadium as Marching Mizzou arrives at Memorial Stadium on Game Day. Don’t miss your chance to get an up-close and personal view of Marching Mizzou so you can see firsthand how hard they work to prepare for Game Day on Faurot Field. Feel free to bring a lawn chair which you will be able to place on the grass area around the practice field on a first come first served basis. Standing view will be available on the perimeter of the practice area, but for your safety and that of the Marching Mizzou members you will not be allowed into the active rehearsal area. Parking will be based on where you are eligible to park for game day, information is available at Sponsored by Marching Mizzou.


Chancellor’s Open House

2:00 – 3:30 p.m., The Residence on Francis Quadrangle

Chancellor Alexander Cartwright and his wife, Melinda Cartwright, invite students and their families to an open house at The Residence on Francis Quadrangle, the oldest building on the oldest public university west of the Mississippi River. Admission is free. Sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office.


Mizzou Volleyball vs. UMKC

2:00 p.m., Hearnes Center

Come see the home opening weekend for the volleyball tigers as they host the Mizzou Invitational. Opponents for the weekend include the Governors of Austin Peay, Northern Iowa Panthers, University of Missouri Kansas City Kangaroos, and the Boise State Broncos. Discount tickets ($5) will be available as part of Family Weekend registration. Students who have an All-sport pass will be able to enter using that and will not require a ticket purchased through Family Weekend registration. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $8. Parking will only be available as allowed by football parking. Information is available at


*Tiger Avenue Tailgate

3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Outdoor area east of Brooks and Bluford residence halls

Get together with Tigers of all stripes before the football game and meet Bill Stackman, Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Jeff Zeilenga, Dean of Students, and members of the Mizzou Family Leadership Council. All students and families are welcome to enjoy music, yard games and camaraderie with fellow tiger fans. Advance tickets for a barbecue lunch will be available as part of Family Weekend registration for $9 (no walk-up lunch tickets will be available). Sponsored by the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Dean of Students and Mizzou Family Leadership Council.


*Football Game: Mizzou vs. Southeast Missouri State University

6:30 p.m., Faurot Field, Memorial Stadium

Enjoy some of college football’s greatest traditions as the Mizzou Tigers take on in-state foe the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks. Wear your game day gold to take in Marching Mizzou, the spirit squads and join in the MIZ-ZOU chant with thousands of other Tiger fans. Tickets are available for purchase with Family Weekend registration. Students who have an All-sport pass will be able to enter using that and will not require a ticket purchased through Family Weekend registration, however they will sit in the student section non-student tickets will be in reserved seats elsewhere in the stadium. Family Weekend Film: Avengers: Endgame

8:00 p.m., Wrench Auditorium, South Memorial Union

Enjoy Avengers: Endgame and watch our heroes gather their allies and re-assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to a universe in ruins. Free movie candy while supplies last. Sponsored by Campus Activities Programming Board.
