Fun Things to Do and Places to Visit While You are On Campus
Fraternity & Sorority Life Chapter Open Houses
Throughout the weekend, Chapter Houses or designated locations
Some fraternity and sorority chapters will be welcoming members and their families in to visit their chapter houses. Chapters participating will have yard signs indicating a Family Weekend event.
Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday and Noon – 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
The Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center (GOBCC) is one of five social justice centers on campus and is dedicated to providing self-awareness and identity development opportunities for students through educational, cultural, and social programming. The GOBCC welcomes Family Weekend guests to come explore this important part of our University community.
Mizzou Pharmacy
9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday
Come check out the newly expanded Mizzou Pharmacy conveniently located at the west end of the main floor of the MU Student Center. You can see just how convenient it is for your student.
MizzouRec Family Weekend Tours
5:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday & Noon – 10:00 p.m. Sunday
Come and visit MizzouRec and see all we have to offer your student. Guided tours are offered every 20 minutes from Member & Guest Services. Please enter and exit via the Southeast Entrance. All ages are welcome!
MizzouRec Family Weekend Facility Use Access
5:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday & Noon – 10:00 p.m. Sunday
Experience one of the nation’s finest campus recreation facilities. Friday and Sunday, parents, guardians and siblings (18 years or of age or older) will be provided with complimentary passes.
Student Health Center
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, 4th Floor, University Physicians Building, 1020 Hitt Street
Feel free to visit the Student Health Center for an informal tour. If you want to speak with someone about a specific issue, please call 573-882-7481 to ensure availability.
